About Us

Direct Learning is an established company with a global reach. We are dedicated to providing affordable independent dyslexia assessment, training and advice. Our services are available for parents with concerns about their children's problems with spelling, reading, math/s and learning at school.

Specific suggestions and clear advice are given on an individual basis on how to improve progress, achievement and self-confidence.

Our Director

World of DyslexiaThe Director of Direct Learning is John Bradford, M.A., Ac. Dip. Ed., Adv. Froeb. Dip., A.C.P.

John Bradford has over thirty years experience of working with children and college students; he has worked as a lecturer in education, and as a school principal/head teacher. He is founder of the 'World of Dyslexia' websites.

He is Senior Editor of 'Dyslexia Teacher', 'Dyslexia Parents Resource', 'Dyslexia Adults Link', 'Dyslexia College', 'Dyslexia Online Magazine', Synthetic Phonics, Classroom Assistant, Teaching Assistant and the 'Dyslexia Online Journal'.

He is also Course Director of the Certificate in the Teaching of Children with Dyslexia and the Dyslexia Parents Course.

John Bradford is a pioneer in the fields of:

  • distance learning courses about dyslexia for parents and teachers,

  • distance assessment for possible dyslexia, and

  • advice and support for parents worldwide.

He and his team work with parents, teachers, dyslexic children and adults with dyslexia, as well as Attention Deficit (ADD or ADHD) and other similar learning difficulties.
